The reigning Chugoku League champions progressed from the 1st round with a 7-6 penalty shootout victory over JFL cellar-dwellers Mitsubishi Motors Mizushima FC.
A 3rd round tie against J2 opponents (either Kataller Toyama or Fagiano Okayama) awaits the winner.
