A draw or better next week ensures a 5th place finish. Mid of a mid season slump keeps Kawakasi out of the top tier this year. Finishing the season in style though...
I think on balance 5th place would be fair. Really struggled to cope with the mid-season loss of Magnum. A few intelligent buys to add a bit of depth to the squad and it could be a very bright 2008.
The transfer rumour mill suggests that Magnum will be returning to Brazil and Juninho could be on his way to Yokohama Marinos.
On a happier note, it is also rumoured that Hulk De Souza could be returning to Frontale from Tokyo Verdy. This guy has scored something ridiculous like 37 goals from 42 appearances in this season's J2 division.
It must be an interesting feeling to know that you beat a team so badly that they were forced to leave the league. Sorry Sanfreche, I think your team has a cool name!
Well, there's a playoff for relegation I suppose. Against Kyoto probably.
