Much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, it's been announced that club captain Hiroki Ito fractured a metatarsal in his left foot during training last Friday (1st May).
The scan suggests he'll be out for 3-4 weeks, but it'll surely be longer before he's back to full match fitness.
This doesn't bode well for the big Urawa clash on Sunday. If Frontale defend like they did against Yokohama, it could be a difficult game to watch.
Still, it's a small consolation to know that Sekizuka wasn't picking Igawa ahead of Ito by choice.
